The fourth album from this German krautrock band takes the band into a new territory. Renate Knaup's vocals is pretty dominant here on the top of some more folk rock inspired krautrock. This is still Amon Duul II and krautrock. But not as I know it.
The sound is good and the krautrock feel is still here. The vocals is a bit over the top at times. The guitars still haunting. The bass and drums is still busy bees. The tempo has been turned down a couple of notches and most of the jazz feel has gone. Gone too has the great songs. This is still a good album. But it is not an Amon Duul II album I will play a lot, I am afraid. Anyway, this is a good album.
